Faking Fashion & Music est le deuxième album d’Elvis Aloys : un album sentimental enregistré par la musicienne Leoni Leoni dans une buanderie de la périphérie bernoise. Ses morceaux - tantôt courts, tantôt étirés et lascifs, créent une suite de chansons formée de boucles et de jeux de mots en conversation.
Des jams de brocante absurdes, parfois lo-fi, parfois psychédéliques, se mêlent à des arrangements d’une fine pop indépendante. Le tout avec une voix d’un Lee Hazlewood hésitant, tentant de séduire son entourage en lui envoyant des photos de ses orteils et en promettant des moments de qualité au pied des alpes vaudoises.
En live, Elvis Aloys sera soutenu par des flûtistes au souffle aiguisé pour former un magnifique ensemble à vent.

Faking Fashion & Music is the second album by swiss musician Elvis Aloys. A sentimental album recorded in a laundry room by musician Leoni Leoni on the outskirts of Bern. His tracks - sometimes short and other times stretched out and serene - create a song sequence of loops and running puns on words.
Abstract lo-fi music mingles with psychedelic garage jams and finally ends up in fine indie pop arrangements. All with the voice of a hesitant Lee Hazlewood, trying to seduce his entourage by sending them pictures of his toes and promising some quality time at the foot of the exquisite Swiss Alps in the Canton of Vaud.
Live, Elvis Aloys will be supported by flautists with sharp breath to form a magnificent wind instrument ensemble.
